Ah Maine! All the glorious places to explore! I find my High School Seniors are generally up for some adventure during their portrait session, and Lydia was no exception! For her session we decided on Fort Popham in Phippsburg Maine. I love this spot for itâs variety. We started inside Fort Popham itself. The walls have so much texture and history. There is golden lichens over much of the rocks and I love the levels available to make interesting compositions.
One outfit change later we head to the outside wall of the fort onto the beach. I just love this pink on Lydia and sheâs such a natural at posing and laughing. I mean itâs hard not to laugh when someone tells you to swing your dress and dance on the beach! But hey if youâre going to celebrate you, we need to do it up right I say!
After this, we moved on the rocks and beach. Popham beach is one of our longer sandier beaches here in Maine. Itâs usually pretty quiet at the fort entrance. There are less people at this end, and no entrance fee. Another bonus is Spinneyâs Oceanfront Restaurant if youâre in the mood for a lobster roll afterwards. There are also rocks, driftwood, and even a bit of greenery! So many options for beautiful Maine portraits here. Look at all these amazing looks I captured. I just love them! Thank you for joining me on Lydiaâs portrait session by visiting my blog. Come back soon.
